Bespoke Events

Catered to your liking – Boggo Road Gaol can provide great services for your event that will help you with the basic necessities that you’ll need, such as: tables, chairs, bar and cooking facilities with your very own personal and licensed caterers.

However, if this option isn’t what you wanted but you were still interested in hiring the venue. Say no more, we have heard you and can now provide you with the hiring of just the venue to allow you to organise your very own catering and setup services. This way you can have the option of making your own event more personalised!

Single Location Hire: 50-100 persons from $25pp
Exclusive Gaol Hire: 100-200 persons P.O.A

A minimum booking of 50 or more can organise their own external catering, BYO or alcohol service.
Our price per person includes the external catering/BYO/alcohol servicing fee.

A bond is required for all Bespoke Boggo Road Events and these are:
$250 non-commercial hirers / $500 commercial hirers

All events require public liability of $20 million coverage

Security is required for all events hosted at the Boggo Road Gaol where alcohol is consumed. If you are not servicing alcohol, security is not required.
Security can be organised by the Gaol Event Coordinator.

Please note: Security can ONLY be supplied through the Gaol and under no circumstances can own professional security be arranged.

Rates for our Security Officers are: $99.00 per hour
Required: 1 x Security Gaurd for every 75 guests. For events with 150+ guests, 1 x Security Guard is required for every 50 guests.


Chairs for hire – $2.00 per chair
Tables for hire – $12.00 per table
Marquee – from $350

Bump In/Bump Out

Event hire includes two 1 hour drop-offs prior to your event and 1 hour setup prior to the commencement of the event. Additional Bump in/Bump out time may be able to be organised at the rate of $145.00 per hour for additional time.
Vehicles may enter the Gaol to drop off equipment, but must vacate the site prior to the start time of the event.

Cleaning Fees/Toilets 

A cleaning fee is charged for Bespoke events over 100 people – $75.00 per hour (A two hour minimum as a requirement)
Extra toilets for groups of more than 100 people must be organised at cost of hirer.
