About Our Historical Tours
THE HISTORY OF BOGGO ROAD GAOL TOUR tells of the dramatic escapes of the 1980s, infamous inmates, lifers, riots, roof top protests, the daily lives of prisoners and the duties of officers.
This 90 minute guided tour through heritage-listed Number Two Division is child friendly and includes time to explore one of the original cellblocks. Historical Tours on Sundays at 9am, 10am & 11am include historical re-enactments by the Prison Players who bring Boggo Road Gaols past to life.
